Cheri is a German Shepherd and Greyhound mix who was rescued from Young-Williams Animal Shelter as a puppy. She is very smart and can even open our doors that have pull-down handles. She is also very sweet and loves playing with all of the other dogs in the neighborhood. Although she is a 45 pound dog, she will play with a neighbors Pekinese by laying down and playing submissive so they can play with her. She can also out run any of the larger dogs in the neighborhood. She will let them chase her and then will go back to where they have stopped and given up catching her, love on them, then let them resume the chase. Cheri also thinks it is her job to clean the cat’s ears and Obi Wan actually lets her.
